Step by step: how to draw Rose Flower Rangoli With 9x5dots for Pongal
- Mark the 9-to-5 dot grid.
- Draw two roses in the middle, one above the other and mirrored — each with a spiral centre wrapped in a cupped petal.
- Round out each rose with wide wavy outer petals and fringe their inner edges with short strokes.
- Give each rose a short stem running out to the top and bottom edges, with long curved leaves sweeping to the left and right.
- Join the leaf lines into a long six-sided outline around both roses.
- Inside each end of the outline draw a pointed almond leaf and mark veins in it.
- At the left and right tips gather the lines into a small loop and add two curling tendrils — one curling up, one curling down.
