Step by step: how to draw Ghummam Kolam Designs with Flower Rangoli 8×4 Dots Simple Muggulu Patterns

1. Mark the 8-to-4 dot grid — rows tapering from 8 down to 4.
2. In the centre draw a small circle and give it four rounded petals — up, down, left and right — marking each petal with two short strokes.
3. Above and below the flower draw a short vertical tendril ending in a loop, and on its left and right a small S-curl.
4. On each of the four diagonals draw a lotus — a shaded central petal, a curved petal on each side and a wide leaf sweeping out at the base.
5. Extend a pair of long leaf lines from the base of each lotus towards the outer corner.
6. Re-trace the outlines in white.
