Step by step: how to draw Happy New Year Rangoli 2026 Traditional Festival Kolam Muggulu for Home Entrance
- Mark the 16-to-6 dot grid.
- Across the middle rows write 2026 in large numerals, each digit outlined as a chain of rounded scallops.
- Colour the digits blue, orange, purple and pink — a cyan oval inside the 0 and a blue disc in the loop of the 6.
- Above the numerals in the centre draw a candle — a column of stacked rounded loops with pink bands and a yellow flame on top.
- On each side of the candle draw an L-shaped band of loops — a short column beside the candle turning into a row above the digits — with a coloured dot in each loop.
- Where each L turns, draw a pair of pointed leaves — blue on the left, purple on the right — and curl spiral tendrils out from them.
- Below the numerals mirror the top — an upside-down candle with its flame pointing down, flanked by L-shaped bands with orange and cyan leaf pairs and spiral tendrils.
- Edge every shape with a white outline.
