Step by step: how to draw Navratri Rangoli Small
- Mark the 5 to 5 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a four-petal flower with heart-shaped petals, a solid blue circle in the middle and a pair of short coloured dashes in each petal.
- On each of the four diagonals draw a diya — a curved lamp bowl with a pointed flame leaf rising from it — and fill the bowl with a fan of orange curls and the flame with red and yellow.
- At the top and bottom draw a bud of three loops with spiral curls at its base and shade the middle loop purple.
- On the left and right draw a lotus bud with pink and purple petals and a spiral curl on either side.
- Join the buds to the central flower with curved lines that frame each petal.
- Edge the outer sides of the diyas with a row of dots.
