Step by step: how to draw Single Bhogi Kundalu and Pot Kolam
- Mark the 9-to-1 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a round pot with a diamond net across its body and a scalloped band beneath the net.
- On top of the pot draw a rim band filled with a criss-cross lattice, curled handles at each end, and three rounded mounds heaped above it.
- On the left and right draw a lotus of pointed petals with a spiral at its outer tip, joined to the pot by a straight line through a small leaf shape.
- Above each side lotus draw a segmented stalk rising toward the top, crowned with a spray of leaves.
- Below the pot draw an upright lotus flanked by broad curving leaves that sweep up to the side lotuses, and finish its stem with a spiral curl.
- Beside the lower leaves on each side add a fan of nested arcs edged with dots.
