Step by step: how to draw 15 Chukkala Muggulu For Pongal Festival

1. Mark the 15-to-3 dot grid — fifteen dots across the middle row narrowing to three at the top and bottom.
2. In the centre draw an eight-pointed star flower with a dot in the middle.
3. On the top, bottom, left and right draw a pot facing outward — a round body with a ringed dot at the outer end and a flared trapezoid rim towards the centre.
4. At the mouth of each pot draw an eye-shaped bud with a dot, flanked by pointed petals and pointing in towards the star.
5. On each of the four diagonals draw a spray of pointed leaves with centre veins.
6. Finish the outer tip of each diagonal spray with a spiral curl.
