Step by step: how to draw Deepam Muggulu Designs Beautiful
- Mark the 15-to-1 dot grid — a diamond of rows narrowing from 15 dots in the middle to 1 at each tip.
- In the centre draw a large flower of broad petals with eight radiating stamen lines tipped with dots, and add a spiral curl at each of the four diagonal corners.
- On each of the four sides draw a cluster of four diyas — one beside the flower, two flanking it and one further out — with their flames pointing toward the centre.
- Behind each diya cluster draw a curved arc lined with dots, ending in a swept leaf on each side.
- At the outer tip of each side add a heart-shaped bud with a dot.
- In the four diagonal gaps between the clusters draw a small round flower with a dot centre, then re-trace the outlines in white.
