Step by step: how to draw 15-1 Dots Beautiful Kolam Muggulu
- Mark the 15-to-1 dot grid — fifteen dots across the middle row narrowing to one at the top and bottom.
- In the centre draw a four-petal flower with a short stroke ending in a dot between each pair of petals.
- On each of the four arms draw an hourglass bow — two triangles meeting tip to tip — with a spiral curl on each side of the crossing.
- At the inner end of each bow, facing the centre, draw a small pointed bud edged with dots.
- At the outer end of each arm draw a four-petal flower of pointed petals.
- In each of the four diagonal corners draw a scalloped cloud shape along the outer edge, with a short stem of small leaves running from it to a half-moon bud that points to the centre.
