Step by step: how to draw Rangoli Designs With Dots 10 by 10

1. Mark the 10-to-10 dot grid — ten rows of ten dots.
2. Split the grid into four square blocks, two by two, with a narrow gap down the middle and across, and in each block draw a large flower of three broad rounded petals and a smaller fourth petal toward the outer corner.
3. At the heart of each large flower draw a small star flower of pointed petals.
4. Mark the outer tip of each broad petal with a small fringe of short lines.
5. On the outer corner of each block draw two veined pointed leaves on a curving stem.
6. Finish the corners of each block with spiral curls so the four blocks mirror one another across the gaps.
