Step by step: how to draw Festive Rangoli Designs With 5×3 Dots Simple Beginners Muggulu Creative Kolam Small

1. Mark the 5-to-3 dot grid — five dots in the middle row tapering to three at the top and bottom.
2. In the centre draw a four-petal flower with rounded lobed petals and a midrib line down each petal.
3. Between the petals draw four pointed leaves with midribs on the diagonals, then enclose the whole flower in a square.
4. On each side of the square draw a pair of facing spirals with a pointed leaf — midrib and dot inside — pointing outward between them.
5. At each corner of the square draw a small five-petal flower with a dot on each petal and a spiral curl beside it.
6. Re-trace the outlines in white.
