Step by step: how to draw Daily Beautiful Kolam 10 Dots
- Mark the 10-to-10 dot grid — ten rows of ten dots in a square.
- In the centre draw a swastika with double parallel lines so its four arms interlock.
- In each of the four corner spaces around the swastika draw a small daisy with a dot in its centre.
- Draw a diya with a pointed flame at the top and another at the bottom, and on the left and right a sideways diya with a leaf-shaped flame, so four lamps face outward from the centre.
- Enclose the four lamps in a large diamond of double lines.
- In each of the four corners of the grid, against a side of the diamond, draw a lotus with layered pointed petals and a curled leaf on either side.
- Fill the gaps along the sides with small pointed leaves and re-trace all the outlines in white.
