Step by step: how to draw Beautiful New Year Flower Kolam 2021 Attractive | New Design Muggulu Competition Rangoli
- Mark the 20-to-2 dot grid — rows tapering from 20 across the middle to 2 at the top and bottom points.
- Across the middle rows write "2021" in large hollow numerals with scalloped, cloud-like outlines.
- Above the numerals draw three round flowers with lobed petals and spiral centres — one just above the numerals and two above it on either side — with small spiral curls beside the lower flower.
- Between the upper two flowers run a straight shaft up to an arrowhead at the top dot.
- Below the numerals mirror the cluster — one flower under the numerals, two flowers below it, and a shaft ending in an arrowhead pointing down to the bottom dot.
- From the outer flower of each cluster run a frame line out along the numerals, and in each corner pocket it makes draw a veined leaf edged with a fringe of short strokes.
- Re-trace all the outlines in white.
