Step by step: how to draw Happy New Year 21 To 11 Beautiful Rangoli
- Mark the 21-to-11 dot grid — interlaced rows set out as a hexagon, 21 dots across the middle and 11 along the top and bottom edges.
- In the centre draw a six-pointed star of six diamond petals around a dot, then ring it with six rounded petals, each holding a spiral curl.
- Between the rounded petals draw six pointed teardrop leaves radiating outward, each with a spiral curl inside.
- Around the centre draw a ring of six large flowers on the hexagon, each with a six-diamond star centre and six rounded petals with spiral curls.
- In each gap between neighbouring outer flowers on the rim add a pointed teardrop leaf with a spiral curl.
- Colour the centre flower orange with a maroon star; fill the outer flowers red, purple and blue — opposite flowers matching — with contrasting star centres, and colour every leaf green.
- Re-trace the outlines and spirals in white.
