Step by step: how to draw 6×2 Dots New Year Muggulu

1. Mark the 6-to-2 dot grid — a middle row of six dots narrowing to two at the top and bottom.
2. Across the middle row write the numerals 2024 in large double-line figures.
3. Above the numerals draw a long wavy base that sweeps out to a pointed leaf tip on each side.
4. On this base draw two mirrored rosebuds facing each other — round buds wrapped by a curled petal.
5. Behind each upper bud add a leaf on the outer side and edge it with a row of small dots.
6. Below the numerals draw two long leaves sweeping out from the centre to pointed tips on either side, with two long curled petals hanging down between them.
7. On each lower side add a looped bud with a leaf edged in small dots, mirroring the upper motif.
