Step by step: how to draw Daily Simple Small Rangoli 6x2x2dots Kolam
- Mark the 6-to-2 dot grid.
- Draw five small flowers in a cross — one in the centre and one above, below, left and right of it — each of four almond petals in a plus shape, every petal enclosing two dots.
- Between the petals of each outer flower draw four short diagonal strokes, turning it into an eight-ray star.
- Join the centre flower to its four neighbours with curved lines that bulge out on the diagonals, forming a four-lobed frame around it.
- Around the three outer sides of each outer flower draw a heart-shaped petal over each almond petal, so the four outer flowers read as clovers.
