Step by step: how to draw Beautiful Deepam Rangoli Designs 7
- Mark the 7-to-1 dot grid — rows tapering from 7 in the middle down to a single dot at each end.
- In the centre draw a four-pointed star with concave sides and put a dot at its heart.
- On the top point of the star draw a lotus of five petals — a tall centre petal flanked by two inner petals and two outer petals curling outward — with a dot-tipped line up the centre petal and short strokes at every petal tip.
- Mirror the same lotus on the bottom point so it opens downward.
- On the left and right points draw a diya lying on its side — a round bowl with nested arcs and a curved row of dots, two rounded lobes at its rim and a pointed flame facing outward.
- Edge each flame with a line of small dots.
- Colour the star green with a red centre, the lotuses magenta, and the diyas orange, blue and red.
