Step by step: how to draw New Year Rangoli Designs
- Mark the 10 to 2 dot grid — rows tapering from 10 dots down to 2.
- Across the middle write WELCOME on one line and 2025 on the line below in block capitals.
- Above the lettering draw two roses side by side, meeting at a point in the middle — each a spiral centre wrapped in layered curved petals.
- Under each rose add two leaves — one below its centre and one on its inner side, where the two roses meet.
- Beside the 2025 line draw one small star flower on each side.
- Below the lettering draw two flower buds curving outward from a central point — each with two pink petals, one pointing up and out and one pointing down and in, a purple petal on its outer side and three dotted stamens between them.
- Fill the roses red, the leaves green, the buds pink and purple, and keep the letters white.
