Step by step: how to draw Very Easy 5 Dots Designs Kolam
- Mark the 5-to-1 dot grid.
- Join the dots into a square in the centre and fill it with a criss-cross lattice of lines.
- On each of the four sides of the square draw a long pointed leaf, set pinwheel-fashion so each leaf sweeps past the next corner.
- Fill each leaf with a central vein and a vine of small paired leaflets.
- In each of the four corners between the leaves draw a flower — a spiral centre ringed with short strokes and enclosed by rounded petals.
- Finish with a curling tendril off the upper-left flower and a sprig of small leaflets beside each of the two lower flowers.
