Step by step: how to draw 21×11 Chukki Rangoli Designs On Paper
- Mark the 21-to-11 dot grid — the middle row of 21 dots, rows stepping down to 11 at the top and bottom.
- In the centre draw a pinwheel flower — six curved petals swirling around a small hexagon of dots.
- Draw six more of the same pinwheel flowers in a ring around the centre one, one in each of the six directions.
- Between the centre pinwheel and each outer one draw a notched block — a box whose inner edge dips in a V — with a small pointed leaf inside the notch.
- Between each neighbouring pair of outer pinwheels draw a small diamond holding a dot, and fill the gaps near the edge with small triangles.
- Join the remaining dots with straight lattice lines, enclose everything in a scalloped ring of arcs, and draw each pinwheel in a different marker colour with the small triangles filled in light blue.
