Step by step: how to draw Big Dot Rangoli Muggulu
- Mark the 14-to-2 dot grid — rows tapering from 14 dots down to 2.
- Across the middle row write "NEW YEAR" in capital letters along the dots.
- On the row above write "HAPPY", and on the row below write "2020".
- Above "HAPPY" draw an elongated hexagon divided into three concave-sided panels, and below "2020" draw the same shape mirrored.
- Flank each panelled shape with two butterflies — striped bodies, rounded wings each holding a dot, and spiral-curl antennae.
- At the left end of "HAPPY" draw a small flower — a ring holding a dot, with three pointed petals fanning out beneath it.
