Step by step: how to draw Kundala Muggulu Kolam
- Mark the 5-to-3 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a round pot with a row of dots across its middle band and a fan-shaped flower with a teardrop centre on its lower half.
- On the pot's mouth draw a striped rim over a scalloped neck, and heap a scalloped, cloud-shaped mound overflowing above it.
- Beneath the pot draw a spread of broad heart-shaped petals, each holding a small heart, with a striped wing petal on each side of the pot.
- Curl a spiral at the tips of the outer petals — five spirals around the lower edge.
- On each side of the pot curve a segmented stalk upward, and top the left stalk with a crown of five pointed leaves.
