Step by step: how to draw Latest Flower Rangoli Designs 9 Dots

1. Mark the 9-to-3 dot grid — rows tapering from 9 down to 3.
2. In the centre join the dots into an eight-pointed star of eight diamonds meeting at a single point.
3. Around the star draw four larger diamonds on the top, bottom, left and right, each enclosing a single dot.
4. On each of the four diagonals draw a block of four small squares, leave the two side squares empty and place a small spiral in the inner square.
5. Halfway along each edge draw a fan of straight rays spreading inward from one point — four rays ending in small circles and the middle ray running to the tip of the dotted diamond.
6. On each of the four corners draw a round spiral bud cupped by two pointed leaves curling outward.
7. Close the outline into an octagonal frame linking the four fans and the four corner buds.
