Step by step: how to draw Muggula Poti Muggulu

1. Mark the 15-to-8 dot grid — rows tapering from 15 down to 8 to give a hexagonal field.
2. In the centre draw a small circle and surround it with a double ring of pointed petals to make a layered star flower.
3. Around the centre flower place a ring of small circles alternating with spiral curls.
4. At each of the six corners of the hexagon draw a large six-petal flower with a second layer of pointed petals behind it.
5. Inside each corner flower draw stamen lines radiating from the middle, each tipped with a dot.
6. Join neighbouring corner flowers with pointed petal curves and small loops so the outline closes into a hexagon.
