Step by step: how to draw Holi Rangoli Colors

1. Mark the 15-to-8 dot grid.
2. Around the centre arrange six trumpet flowers in a ring, each with a fluted open rim and stamens tipped with dots inside.
3. Give each trumpet flower a curving stem with serrated leaves, and between neighbouring flowers add a small bell-shaped bud.
4. In the centre draw six long pointed petals around a small dot.
5. Between the petals draw six lines radiating outward and end each in a V-shaped arrowhead holding a small teardrop in its notch.
6. Fill the trumpet flowers blue, red and pink in turn, the leaves green and the buds purple and orange.
7. Colour the centre petals pink, the arrowheads orange and the teardrops light blue, then re-trace all the outlines in white.
