Step by step: how to draw Poo Kolam With 7 Dots

1. Mark the 7-to-1 dot grid — rows narrowing from 7 dots in the middle to a single dot at each end.
2. Above, below and on each side of the centre draw a four-petal flower with pointed petals, running a line ending in a dot down the middle of each petal.
3. In the centre draw a larger four-petal flower whose pointed petals point to the diagonals, with a spiral curl inside each petal.
4. Loop a rounded frame around each of the four outer flowers, joining each frame to the centre flower.
5. On each diagonal corner draw a spiral curl surrounded by tulip-shaped buds and add a small flower with round petals at its tip.
6. Beyond each outer flower add a small spiral tendril along the outer edge.
