Step by step: how to draw Unique Rangoli Design for Diwali

1. Mark the 5-to-1 dot grid — rows tapering from 5 in the middle to a single dot at the top and bottom.
2. Link the dots around the centre with paired pointed lens shapes to make a two-by-two block of four rounded cells.
3. Draw a small round flower in each of the four cells and a short curved stroke inside each lens between them.
4. Enclose the block with a tall oval and a wide oval that cross each other around it.
5. Outside each of the four oval tips draw a lotus of pointed petals with a round spiral flower at its outer tip.
6. On the four diagonals between the lotuses add pairs of spiral curls.
