Step by step: how to draw Beautiful Ugadi Rangoli Designs With Traditional Ugadi Muggulu Patterns
- Mark the 10-to-2 dot grid — rows tapering from 10 down to 2.
- Down the centre column write UGADI in capital letters, one letter below the other.
- Across the middle row write UGADI again so the two words cross and share the A.
- In each of the four quadrants draw a flower of three pointed petals fanning out towards the corner.
- At the inner end of each flower add three leaves — two small pointed leaves, one with a dotted midrib, and a longer curved leaf along the base — and a spiral curl.
- Shade the petals with white and re-trace the letters.
