Step by step: how to draw Designer Rangoli With 7 to 1

1. Mark the 7-to-1 dot grid — rows narrowing from seven dots in the middle to one at each end.
2. On the top, bottom, left and right draw four flowers, each of four heart-shaped petals around a small circle.
3. Mark two short dashes inside each heart petal.
4. In the centre draw four pointed leaf petals on the diagonals to form a star-shaped flower.
5. Link neighbouring flowers with long sweeping curves that run out along the diagonals.
6. On each diagonal, outside the curves, draw a small teardrop leaf with a dot inside on a short stem.
7. Finish with a dot at the outer tip of the left, right and bottom flowers and a small three-petal bud above the top flower.
