Step by step: how to draw 7×7 Dots Easy Kolam

1. Mark the 7-to-7 dot grid.
2. In the centre draw a square, fill it with diagonal hatching lines and draw a four-petal flower round a small circle in its middle.
3. On each side of the square draw a triangle holding nested arcs edged with a row of dots.
4. At each of the square's four corners draw a spiral curl.
5. At the top, bottom, left and right draw a pointed bud with an inner petal, finished with a curling tendril.
6. On each of the four corners draw a large fan flower of three heart-shaped petals, with dot-tipped stamen lines fanning out from its base.
