Step by step: how to draw Creative 7 3 3 Kolam
- Mark the 7 to 3 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a small daisy — a dot ringed by tiny round petals.
- On each of the four axes draw a lotus pointing outward: a pointed lens petal in the middle with a short bar across its outer tip, a curved petal on each side and a spiral curl at its base.
- Between the centre daisy and each lotus draw a small heart.
- Join the four lotuses with curved stems that sweep from base to base, forming a rounded diamond around the daisy, and tuck a spiral tendril and a small leaf into each diagonal corner.
- Crown the outer tip of each lotus with a fan of small rounded petals and short radiating strokes.
- Re-trace in white.
