Step by step: how to draw Dussehra Muggulu Designs
- Mark the 5-to-3 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a small circle round a dot and ring it with four rounded petals, each marked with two short dashes, with a dot-tipped stalk between each pair of petals.
- In each of the four corners of the grid draw a pair of pointed petals joined in a V.
- Join the petal pairs with straight lines so a large square outline encloses the centre.
- At the middle of each side of the square draw a flower with a spiral eye and pointed petals, crowned on the outside by a bud edged with dots.
- Over each of the four corners draw a large rose — a spiral centre wrapped in layered petals — and shade the petals lightly in white.
