Step by step: how to draw Unique Pattern Rangoli Design 12-2 Dots

1. Mark the 12-to-2 dot grid — rows tapering from 12 in the middle down to 2 at each end.
2. In the centre draw a four-petal flower with a small circle at its heart and two short dashes on each petal.
3. Repeat the same flower at the top, bottom, left and right to form a cross of five flowers.
4. On each of the four diagonals between the flowers draw a rounded leaf with a midrib and slanting veins.
5. Around each leaf sweep a large arc linking the two neighbouring outer flowers, so the frame becomes a ring of rounded lobes.
6. Outside each arc add a crescent band of two parallel curves, and fill the top two bands with short cross-strokes.
