Step by step: how to draw Beautiful Muggulu Designs With 9×1

1. Mark the 9-to-1 dot grid, with the nine-dot row across the middle.
2. In the centre draw a four-petal flower — pointed petals on the diagonals, each with a short stamen line tipped with a dot.
3. On each of the four sides draw a V-shaped chevron pointing in towards the flower.
4. Beyond each chevron draw a large diamond whose inner edges run parallel to the chevron, and inside it a smaller diamond filled with a criss-cross lattice.
5. On the four diagonals between the arms draw a pointed leaf with a dot inside, its base curling into a loop beside the centre.
6. At the outer tip of each of the four arms add a pair of spiral curls with a short line and dot between them.
