Step by step: how to draw Beginners 9 Dots Deepavali Muggulu
- Mark the 9-to-1 dot grid — rows stepping down from 9 to 1 — and draw a dot inside a small circle at the centre.
- Around the centre draw four scalloped L-shaped bodies, one in each quarter, each turned so the four chase each other round as a pinwheel.
- Shape each body from rounded scalloped lobes and set a small spiral curl inside each of its two pointed ends.
- At the inner corner of each body draw a quarter-circle fan of small loops with an arc inside it.
- At the outer corner of each body draw a pair of pointed leaves on a curled stem.
- Fringe the outer leaves with rows of short strokes and add a few short double ticks along the outer curves.
