Step by step: how to draw Kundala Muggulu Sankranthi

1. Mark the 9-to-1 dot grid.
2. In the centre draw a round pot with two double bands across its belly, a wide neck filled with slanting stripes, and a row of small teardrop leaves hanging below the rim.
3. On top of the pot draw a rounded bud with a dot inside, flanked by four pointed mango leaves — two curving out on each side.
4. On each side of the pot draw a cup-shaped petal and set a small diya with a flame inside it.
5. Sweep a large curved petal out from each side of the base and carry it up into a tall banded sugarcane stalk with a leafy top.
6. Between each diya and its sugarcane stalk draw a small sprig — a stem with paired leaves.
7. Below the pot draw three large veined leaves — one pointing down in the centre and one spreading out to each side.
