Step by step: how to draw 7×7 Dots Daily Rangoli

1. Mark the 7-to-7 square dot grid.
2. On each of the four corners draw a large L-shaped outline with rounded ends, its inner corner facing the centre.
3. In the outer corner of each L draw a quarter-circle fan of concentric arcs edged with dots.
4. In the centre draw a diamond filled with a lattice of crossing diagonal lines, and set a four-petal flower in its middle.
5. On each diagonal between the diamond and the L shapes draw a pointed almond leaf with a line down its middle.
6. From the inner ends of the L shapes curve lines into a pointed arch at the middle of each side.
7. Top the arches on the top and on both sides with a small flower of three loops around a dot.
