Step by step: how to draw 8 Chukkala Muggulu Simple Rangoli
- Mark the dot grid as a diamond-shaped field, with the rows tapering toward the top and bottom points.
- In the centre draw a small four-petal flower — four teardrop petals pointing to the four diagonal corners — with a dot inside each petal.
- Above, below and on each side of the flower draw a pair of overlapping diamonds — two squares standing on their points, the second shifted half a width along the arm so that their overlap forms a small central diamond — and divide that small diamond into a lattice of nine cells.
- In the outer notch of each pair of diamonds draw a small pot — a rounded, dome-topped body on a flat band — pointing away from the centre.
- On each of the four diagonals draw a curving stem from the centre flower ending in a spiral curl, and beyond it a half-flower — a spiral heart with five rounded loop petals fanning outward, framed by two long pointed leaves along its inner edges.
- Re-trace the outlines in white.
