Step by step: how to draw Draw This Rangoli for New

1. Mark the 8-to-2 dot grid — rows widening from 2 up to 8 and back down to 2 for a diamond field.
2. Down the centre draw a tall frame of curved lines — a narrow neck at the top, a diamond in the middle and a narrow neck at the bottom.
3. On the left and right of the diamond draw a large flower of rounded notched petals with a spiral in its centre.
4. Shade each petal with short lines running from the spiral to the petal edge.
5. At the top of the frame draw a bud with a dot inside and a curled leaf on each side, and above it a small flower of rounded petals around a spiral.
6. At the bottom draw the same motif upside down and slightly larger — a bud with a dot inside between two curled leaves sweeping out on each side, with a small spiral-centred flower below it.
7. Re-trace the outlines in white.
