Step by step: how to draw Unique Designs Rangoli Daily Routine | New Muggulu 8*2 Traditional Kolam
- Mark the 8-to-2 dot grid.
- Join the outer dots on each of the four sides into a curved arc with inward-curling tips, leaving the centre square of dots open.
- In the centre draw a four-petal flower with notched, heart-shaped petals around a spiral, adding short strokes between the spiral and each petal.
- Along each of the four arcs draw a side flower whose scalloped edge faces the centre, with a spiral eye ringed with small dots towards the outer side.
- Extend the tips of each side flower into curling leaves that end in small spirals.
- From one corner of each side flower run a long tendril ending in a spiral towards the next flower, all four turning the same way like a pinwheel.
- Re-trace all the outlines in white.
