Step by step: how to draw 8x2x2 Flower Kolam Simple Muggulu
- Mark the 8-to-2 dot grid — rows tapering from 8 in the middle down to 2 at the ends.
- In the centre draw a circle with a spiral inside it.
- From the circle draw four rounded bars in a plus shape and fill each bar with straight crosswise lines.
- Put a spiral curl in each of the four quadrants between the bars, then enclose the whole cross in an eight-pointed star outline with two spikes on each diagonal.
- On each of the four sides draw a small flower of rounded petals with dots and a curling tendril.
- From one spike of each diagonal star point sweep a long arc out to the next side flower, all four turning the same way, and edge each arc with a fringe of small dots.
