Step by step: how to draw How to Draw 4 Dots Kolam
- Mark the 9-to-1 dot grid.
- In the centre draw a small daisy of petals around a dot.
- Around the daisy draw four plump birds in a pinwheel, each with a round head, an eye dot and a small pointed beak pointing towards the next bird.
- Give each bird a curved wing line on its body and a long pointed tail sweeping outward.
- At the outer end of each bird draw a diya — a rounded bowl with two leaf shapes on its side and a teardrop flame.
- Ring each flame with short rays tipped with dots.
- Colour the birds green, orange, purple and red, the diyas pink with green leaves and yellow flames, the centre daisy pink, and re-trace every outline in white.
