Step by step: how to draw Amazing Hand Rangoli Diya
- Mark the 12-to-2 dot grid.
- At the top, bottom, left and right draw four-petal flowers with round petals and a spiral in a circle at each centre.
- In the centre draw a flower with a spiral heart and four flared, notched petals marked with short strokes.
- Set a pointed leaf on each of the centre flower's four diagonals.
- In each of the four corners between the side flowers draw a diya — a bowl-shaped lamp with a teardrop flame — giving each a quarter turn so the four lamps circle the centre.
- Join each diya to the next side flower with a curving stem that carries a small leaf and ends in a spiral curl.
