Step by step: how to draw 8 to 8 Navratri Durga Pooja Kolam

1. Mark the 8-to-8 dot grid — eight rows of eight dots in a square.
2. In the centre draw a small square and place a circle with a dot inside it.
3. In each of the four corners draw a large square and set a small tilted square holding a leaf inside it.
4. Across each quadrant draw a long diagonal band from the middle of the side to the middle of the top or bottom edge, so the four bands form a diamond around the centre square.
5. Between each band and the centre square draw a slanted parallelogram block divided into a triangle and a strip.
6. Line each band with a row of dots and re-trace all the outlines in white.
